The La Salina community is kinda like a caterpillar patiently sleeping in its cacoon. If the big developers have their way it will soon emerge as a beautiful butterfly. This area is equipped to deliver Baja's best. Just exit the toll road at La Salina Km73 for the best of the Baja experience. The week day Happy hour at the La Salina Cantina is hard to beat. From 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, second drink for $.50. The view from the bar is to kill for and you never know who you will be sitting next to. Angel's Camp/ Las Olas is an area for the very selective. You have to like dirt streets and isolation, for which you need to give up some of the amenities. You have to be the judge. Come soon and check us out.

Angels Camp 2005

4/28/00 Angels Camp, sometime called Campo Angel, is a somewhat primitive trailer park community located on the lava rock point just to the south of La Salina at the La Olas, km74 toll road exit. Some people remember camping here in the fifties when they could catch lobsters and abalone in the numerous tide pools, along with a lot more. Angel's camp is still here but it is in sort of a time warp. It was discovered by the Surfers in the early 90's and has slowly been taken over by a younger group, sprinkled with a few old time family campers. You can find a few resale trailers, or pioneer a new spot among the rocka and cactus. The deal is month to month and many of the sites have have super views. Yes, Angel Corvarubias Gonzales is still the Patron. He tolerates no motorcycles or ATV's but has mellowed out a bit in regard to fireworks. This is still a great place to enjoy a bit of the famed Baja experience. There are no signs to Angel's camp but you see it from the toll road, just south of the new Marina. Follow the road past the Las Olas gate and take the next dirt road toward the sea.

Baja Mar 5/6/00

Bring your golf Clubs! Baja Mar is a mega golf resort located 5 kilometers south of La Salina at a well marked toll road exit. The entrance is through a large Mission styled gate complex. Tell the gate attendant that you wish to go to the Club House, and he will give you a pass and head you on your way. At the Club House, on a world class 27 hole golf course, you may check in to the charming hotel, and see the Pro Shop for golfing tee times, for the Vista, Lagos, or the Oceana . You may just want to enjoy the view from the lounge or from the very elegant dining room. Package deals for golf and rooms are the way to go. Reservations are recommended on weekends or Holidays. Puerto Salina / La Marina 5/6/00

Most people in La Salina just refer to it as the Marina. The sales office is right in front of you as you exit the toll road at the La Salina southbound or Northbound Exits. Marina representatives will be glad to assist you and show you around. Puerto Salina is a small boat harbor which will, upon completion, will have two large, well equipped Boat Basins and a surrounding Marina oriented community, of single family homes, luxury condos and a Private Beach Club. Also planned is a large fresh water recreation lake. Gentle hills slope up from the Marina, affording great views from almost every lot. The Marina will soon be the the focal point of the La Salina community
