History of Bajamar Ocean Front Golf ResortBajamar was conceived in 1975 by Grupo Valcas, a Mexican Real Estate Development conglomerate, when the first phase of the 36 hole golf course was created, along with construction of the first homes. Grupo Valcas ran the gauntlet of obtaining permits and creating the master infrastructure. In 1991, Grupo Valcas join-ventured with a mayor hotel-resort developer to develop the remainder of the property. Most noticeable improvements from this effort are the 81-room hotel adjacent to the clubhouse and the spectacular 9 hole Oceano course. Today, Bajamar has approximately 360 homes completed; a 15,000 square foot clubhouse; an extensive network of cobblestone streets; an impressive guard gated entry that emits a grand sense of arrival; and a reputation that lures five to six thousand golfers monthly to test their abilities against the "Best of Baja."

  Bajamar's 27 holes offer one of the most spectacular golf experiences in North American. Often called "Pebble Beach South of the Border", Bajamar offers a scenic and memorable golfing experience to players of all skill levels and abilities. All three courses have something unique to offer the golfer.

The Hacienda Bajamar Hotel offers 81 luxury colonial style Mexican rooms with full room service and gracious Mexican hospitality. All rooms have heaters and air-conditioning, either a patio or a balcony, hairdryers, satellite television, telephones and full bathrooms. We offer two types of rooms - the standard room and the junior suite. All rooms are available with or without a golf package.
